How to create your own Christmas ornament wreath
Christmas is my favorite holiday season. I love all the festivities and the time I get to spend with my family. To be honest it is really easy to go over board when it comes to decorating for the holidays. As I was going through my decorations I decided that I wanted to get rid of some of the ornaments we were no longer using on our Christmas tree. Instead of getting rid of them completely I decided to recycle them into a Christmas ornament wreath.
For the base of the wreath I used a metal hanger. Honestly I don’t use too many metal hangers anymore so I got lucky when I was searching through my closest. Most days I use these hangers.
You could also choose to do this craft with a traditional foam wreath form.
Unwind the metal hanger and mold the metal into a circle.
Thread the hanger through the top of each ornament.
I used varying colors of green, red and gold ornaments.
Once you have filled the metal hanger then you can re-twist the ends together to create the hook for your wreath.
I finished my wreath off with a bow.
Here is the Christmas ornament wreath hanging on my front door.
