Easy DIY Happy Birthday wreath
Supplies:
- Balloons
- Pipe cleaner
- Pins
- Foam wreath
- Fabric (optional)
Step 1: Wrap the wreath form in fabric
I don’t always do this step when making wreaths, but I find that the wreath looks more polished when I wrap the white foam wreath in fabric first.
Cut your fabric into 1-1.5 inch strips and wrap it around the foam. I just use a pin to adhere to fabric to the back side of the foam wreath.
Step 2: Use pins to adhere the balloons to the wreath form
This is definitely the most time consuming part of this craft. Use a pin to adhere each balloon to the wreath form. I did one pin for each balloon.

Step 3: Add pipe cleaner to the wreath to add dimension
This step is optional. The pipe cleaner does add some dimension to the wreath, but looking at the picture can you really tell that it is there? The pipe cleaner doesn’t necessarily stand out next to the balloons.
If you want to add the pipe cleaner. Wrap the pipe cleaner around a pencil to create a curl and then use a pin to adhere it. In this case a floral pin is better than the usual straight pin.
Now it is time to hang it on your door!
