Mixing your own clay is a great way to achieve personalized colors for your projects. In this post, we’ll focus on creating a classic brick red shade. This deep, warm red evokes the rustic charm of traditional brick and adds a cozy feel to any creation. Follow along as we demonstrate the steps to mix this inviting color.

Supplies
Polymer Clay
Polymer clay comes in a variety of colors. To mix the color Brick Red you will need the colors Cornflower Blue and Cherry Pie Red in the Sculpey Souffle brand.
Condition the Clay
To condition the clay you will need an acrylic roller or my preferred method is using a pasta machine for clay.
A pasta roller makes it easy to condition your polymer clay. It also helps achieve a consistent thickness of your clay when creating earrings.
