Mixing your own clay is a fantastic way to achieve personalized colors that make your projects truly unique. In this post, we’ll show you how to create a stunning carmine red. This deep, vibrant shade adds a dramatic flair to any piece. Follow along as we break down the steps to mix this eye-catching color.

Supplies
Polymer Clay
Polymer clay comes in a variety of colors. To mix the color Carmine Red you will need the colors Canary Yellow and Cherry Pie Red in the Sculpey Souffle brand.
Condition the Clay
To condition the clay you will need an acrylic roller or my preferred method is using a pasta machine for clay.
A pasta roller makes it easy to condition your polymer clay. It also helps achieve a consistent thickness of your clay when creating earrings.
