Creating your own custom clay colors is a fantastic way to add a personal touch to your projects. In this post, we’re diving into the process of mixing a rich crimson shade. This deep, vivid red is perfect for making your creations stand out with a touch of drama and elegance. Join us as we explore the steps to achieve this bold color.

Supplies
Polymer Clay
Polymer clay comes in a variety of colors. To mix the color Crimson you will need the colors Canary Yellow and Cherry Pie Red in the Sculpey Souffle brand.
Condition the Clay
To condition the clay you will need an acrylic roller or my preferred method is using a pasta machine for clay.
A pasta roller makes it easy to condition your polymer clay. It also helps achieve a consistent thickness of your clay when creating earrings.
