Mixing your own clay offers a fantastic opportunity to craft custom colors that add a unique flair to your projects. In this post, we’re focusing on how to create a rich eggplant color. This deep, dark purple is perfect for adding a touch of elegance and sophistication. Join us as we guide you through the steps to mix this luxurious shade.

Supplies
Polymer Clay
Polymer clay comes in a variety of colors. To mix the color Eggplant you will need the colors Cornflower Blue and Cherry Pie Red in the Sculpey Souffle brand.
Condition the Clay
To condition the clay you will need an acrylic roller or my preferred method is using a pasta machine for clay.
A pasta roller makes it easy to condition your polymer clay. It also helps achieve a consistent thickness of your clay when creating earrings.
