Mixing your own clay colors opens up a world of creativity and customization. In this post, we’re thrilled to guide you through creating a unique shade called desert olive gold. This earthy, golden green hue brings a warm and natural feel to any project. Follow along as we show you step-by-step how to achieve this distinctive color.

Supplies
Polymer Clay
Polymer clay comes in a variety of colors. To mix the color Olive Gold you will need the colors Canary Yellow and Cornflower Blue in the Sculpey Souffle brand.
Condition the Clay
To condition the clay you will need an acrylic roller or my preferred method is using a pasta machine for clay.
A pasta roller makes it easy to condition your polymer clay. It also helps achieve a consistent thickness of your clay when creating earrings.
