Mixing your own clay gives you the freedom to create custom colors tailored to your artistic vision. In this post, we’ll explore how to blend a unique dark puce shade. This deep, muted purplish-brown color adds a sophisticated and warm touch to any clay project. Follow along as we guide you through the steps to achieve this rich, earthy tone.

Supplies
Polymer Clay
Polymer clay comes in a variety of colors. To mix the color Dark Puce you will need the colors Canary Yellow, Cornflower Blue and Cherry Pie Red in the Sculpey Souffle brand.
Condition the Clay
To condition the clay you will need an acrylic roller or my preferred method is using a pasta machine for clay.
A pasta roller makes it easy to condition your polymer clay. It also helps achieve a consistent thickness of your clay when creating earrings.
